I'm Musha. I'm based in Shelley near Huddersfield, and Wakefield is a comfortable run east, well inside my regular patch. I'm out that way most weekends for one event or another, so booking a DJ from the Kirklees side means you get a proper rig and a full record bag without paying a city-centre Wakefield agency markup. Loads of DJs around Wakefield open and close on the same chart and disco playlist. I'll happily play that when the room calls for it, but my real strength is the afrobeats and amapiano end of things, sat alongside house, R&B, garage, hip-hop, bashment and old school. Wakefield city centre is the heart of it, but I cover the towns all around: Ossett and Horbury to the west, Sandal just south, Outwood and Stanley up toward the M62, then Pontefract and Castleford on request. From there it's a straight run back through Denby Dale and home to Huddersfield, so the whole corridor is easy ground for me. Hotel suite, golf club, rugby club bar, function room or a marquee out in the fields, the gear travels and the sound fills the space either way.
